Frisco BBQ Challenge
The 12th Annual Coors Colorado Barbecue Challenge filled Frisco Main Street with the smoke, the smell, and the good old American way of life called barbecuing.
More than 10,000 people packed Main Street during the 2005 Challenge and celebrated GOOOOOD BBQ with all the champion cookers.
Pink Flamingo BBQ from Ft. Smith, Arkansas won his second consecutive Grand Championship at the June 24-25, 2005 Coors Colorado Barbecue Challenge.
Wildman BBQ from Aurora, Colorado were the Reserve Grand Champs.

Frisco is already getting prepped for June 23 - 24, 2006. Barbecue Team Applications for the 13th annual competition will be available January 2006.

The 13th annual Frisco Colorado Barbecue Challenge will serve up beer, barbecue and good times to over 10,000 people with proceeds from the two-day event benefiting the Frisco Chamber of Commerce and the Colorado Restaurant Association Education Fund (CRAEF). CRAEF primarily funds the ProStart programs statewide for High School Culinary education and provides scholarships for continuing culinary education. The Barbecue Challenge offers flexible sponsorship and advertising packages.
